COD Black Ops Game: Black Ops is the famous Call of Duty franchise's seventh installment. When it was released on April 30, 2010, 7 million copies of this immensely popular game had been sold in a single day, surpassing its predecessors. Call of Duty Black Ops continues the epic story from an earlier release: Call of Duty World at War.

Call of Duty Black Ops: In the Black Ops campaign, the gamer plays the role of a solider, Alex Mason. The game begins with Alex Mason being interrogated, but Alex appears to be suffering from temporary amnesia which is keeping him from recalling vital information. As the game continues, it will revolve around flashbacks of Alex's memories, and his efforts to remember the crucial information. The plot of Black Ops, has received positive feedback from both critics and gamers alike. The voice actors had done a solid job, the twists that take place in the storyline are quite surprising, and the finale is extremely satisfactory.

Call of Duty Black Ops: Black Ops fares even better in the multiplayer aspect of the game. In the multiplayer, the style is somewhat similar to an earlier release, Modern Warfare 2. The major difference to earlier games however, is the concept of CoD points, by which you customize your weapons killstreak bonuses, emblems, and your hud. Leveling up and your experience points will now unlock new modes and weapons. To make things fun, however, once you spend your points, they are gone, and there is no going back.

Another great game mode is the Wager Match mode, designed for the more adventurous players. A player in the wager match will bet CoD points on the outcome of that match, and then win more points if the bet wins. What makes the mode especially risky is the high buy-in required to enter it, typically 500 CoD points.

This new focus on Call of Duty points is not without style. Once a gamer enters a match, there are numerous dynamic elements in the match that will change every time a gamer enters, which makes it ideal for increased re-playability. For instance, alternative locations are unlocked, target placements change, etc. Also, there is a contract system which the player can follow to earn addition points.

For the standard game types, try Free For All, Team Death-match, Headquarters, Domination, and Search and Destroy. Also, for gamers whom have reached level 50, he or she can use the Prestige-Mode. The Prestige Mode further unlocks extra rewards and challenges.
